of Buckinghamshire
Our Patron is The Countess Howe, Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire. The Lord-Lieutenant is appointed by His Majesty The King to be their personal representative in the county. Lady Howe enjoys celebrating Buckinghamshire’s businesses, charitable organisations, history and culture; ‘and meeting the people who make this such a special place to live’. In her words, ‘Missenden Walled Garden provides a unique facility for adults with learning disabilities and autism. I cannot emphasise strongly enough what a remarkable facility it is, and how important the provision is for adults with learning disabilities.’
